The 2007 Electoral Distribution was completed on 29 October 2007 when the details of the division of the State were published in the Government Gazette. Unless special circumstances arise, the boundaries determined in this division of the State will apply from the next State general election for the Legislative Assembly, due to be held in 2009. In the meantime, the boundaries determined in the 2003 electoral distribution will be used for any by-elections.
